Male Infertility
Join Antony Haynes BA(Hons), RNT as he discusses a complex and intensely personal matter which impacts over 100 million people on the planet. Infertility affects an estimated 15% of couples globally: 60–80 million couples worldwide. It is estimated that males carry sole responsibility for 20-30% of infertility cases and contribute to 50% of cases overall. There is a well collated body of research that suggests that appropriate nutritional modifications and improvements can improve the natural conception rate of infertile couples.
Antony will focus on the role that daily nutrient intakes and dietary quality have on male infertility and introduce you to the common nutrition-related factors that contribute to male infertility. Antony will also provide suggestions for the most suitable lab tests to investigate the key nutrients.
During this presentation you will learn:
How many men are infertile
How many men have an insufficient sperm count

About the most common and well-studied key nutrients involved for male fertility & sperm
